Venues - The Village Ballroom / Portland, OR
We popped by the Village Ballroom without an appointment, as we were in the area, and were welcomely greeted by Monica. She was also kind enough to give us a quick tour of the event space. The Village Ballroom is cozy, yet energetic place. The location in Portland is great. Monica mentioned a few of her favorite types of events that people have done previously, including lots of square dancing and some 1800s themed attire. The building is an older one, but that's a whole part of the charm.
The Village Ballroom is Portland’s charity-focused historic ballroom, partnering with our downstairs neighbor, The Oregon Public House. Built in 1909 as an Odd Fellows Hall in the Woodlawn neighborhood of NE Portland, the Village Ballroom has an open ballroom with a beautiful mahogany bar, greeting room, and two ADA-accessible restrooms. Included in the rental are our tables, chairs, built-in sound system, and moderate climate control.
