McMinnville is about ~45 minutes SW of Portland depending on where you're coming from. However, the drive is worth it. For weddings, events, meetings and much more, the Falls Event Center is an excellent choice. Outside of that, the Falls Event Center is located on the same grounds of the Evergreen Museum, which also hosts a fantastic Aviation museum, a water park (yes, it's awesome) and more.
